Finale Ligure is located at about 40 minutes from Alassio, ideal place to visit even just in one day, and it is also a good alternative to Alassio, thanks even to the large amount of free beaches.

The urban structure of Finale Ligure is developed in three areas:

The first is Finale Marina which, due to tourism, has developed a specific urbanization that has made, through time, this place the most contemporary. More in the inland you can find Finalborgo, which is wrapped in the ancient walls of the XV century, and dominated by the castles of Covone and San Giovanni. The most distant district of Finale Ligure is called Varigotti, which is known for the beautiful beach and for its typical houses, just at a small distance from the sea, in perfect Saracenic style.

During the third week of august, you have to possibility to admire the event "journey in the Middle Ages", which is a cultural exposition in order to remember medieval costumes and typical dishes, traditions of Finale Ligure.
