Sanur is situated in the east of Bali, and despite the number of bars and restaurants, is one of themost relaxed areas , romantic and quiet of the island.

Danau Tambilingan, is the main street of Sanur for shopping and rent a scooter, and there are always dozens of taxi drivers. You'll find bars, restaurants, shops, a few small mini-markest, and many stalls and markets.

For shopping you can head to the beach of Sanur, there are 5km to walk, and between a resort and the other (Mercur, Hyatt ...)or between masseuses you will find many other stalls selling everything. It's not really worth the effort, if it were not for the magnificent landscape that offers the Sanur area, so do not forget your camera!

In Sanur you never get bored: by day the beach offers some sports (banana boat hire, kite surfing, parasailing, etc), towards the aperitif time you can relax in one of the beach bars to enjoy a cocktail at sunset.

At dinner, there is plenty of choice, and once outside the restaurant you walk towards one of the bars, the Aba Kabar is one of the nicest ones and the bartender is really funny, you will make friends at the bar with other tourists and locals. There's also the Night Market, where you can head to look around or eat something.
