A combination of sculpture, plaster, decorations is the ancient Royal Palace in Ubud, the peaceful cultural center of the island of Bali, located in the hills, 20 km north of the capital Denpasar.

Even if today in Bali the King only has a representing role, the Royal Palace is open daily to the public and some of its dependence are available to friends and other members of the royal family.
