Talking about monuments of Bamako, we have to affirm that this is a city that you can love only if you "enter" not only physically but also mentally, guided by your senses, lead by the colors, smells and sounds from its music and its culture, from the looks and smiles of extraordinary humanity, happy, joyful and active. You can love it because it is human.
Among the monuments, a few, you must surely visit the Grand Mosque which is located in the area of Bagadadji. It's a modern mosque, donated to Mali from Saudi Arabia. However, it points out the typical style of Mali, "Sudanese" and enriched by the two minarets quite futurists. It's possible to visit it inside, except in moments of prayer.
