Also for sleeping in Bamako there are various structures even if, as is happens usually in capital cities, prices are slightly higher than what can be found in the rest of Mali. That said, indicating some, which we have tested.

In neighborhoods Niaréla and Quinzambougou

-Hotel-restaurant Le Rabelais, route de Setouba BP2126. Phone. +2215298/ 3637/ 7056.

Place rather original, with the oldest part of the hotel in colonial style. The rooms are decorated, each in a different way but with taste. It offers all the comforts: TV, VCR, internet, wave pool. There is also a restaurant with excellent service and I would say just as good.

The double from 50000FCFA (less than 80 €). With 10/15 euro more you can take advantage of half board.

-The Mandé, in the district of Cité du Niger BP2639. Phone. +2211993/ 95. It's located about 4 km from the center, but perhaps worth it for those who want to stay in a charming bungalow on the Niger, to enjoy beautiful sunsets. You can eat in small terrace on the river, there is a swimming pool and, optionally, you can do laps in pinasse. The cuisine is excellent and the staff efficient and friendly. Double 55000FCFA (80 €)

In the quarter-Missira Hippodrome

-Hotel Djenné. Located about 300m from the restaurant San Toro and is of the same owner (see restaurants). Phone. +2213082

The hotel is on the same style of the restaurant, furnished in an original, delicious way and respecting the local culture, rich pieces of crafts from Mali, bogolan with wash basins and clay on wrought iron.

Prices: double 45000FCFA (about 68 €), equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets and including breakfast, 50000FCFA (about 80 euro) for a mini suite

-Sèguèrè, in the district of Torokorobougou BPE-3304. Phone: +2286908 (is just around the Aquarius). Accommodation managed by the French who created enormously different proposals for different types of tourists. You may, in fact, stay in tents Maura, in dorms, in rooms with fan or, finally, in double rooms with air conditioning. There is a swimming pool, garden, kitchen with refrigerator available but also the possibility to order meals for a few euro, washing machine and home environment. Prices vary depending on choice of accommodation ranging from 5000 to 25000FCFA (7 to 30 € approximately)
