The Trullo is a characteristic of peasant or artisan's house, built with unique technique.
The Trulli extend up to the hills of the Murgia area, in the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, among white hospitable countries such as Castellana Grotte, Conversano, Gioia del Colle, Locorotondo, Noci, Putignano, Martina Franca, Ceglie Messapico, Cisternino, Ostuni, Selva di Fasano.
The most spectacular phenomenon of urban concentration is offered by the Trulli in Alberobello. In this town, famous throughout the world, they form shaped districts.
The stunning Monti district alone, over 1,000 set in picturesque streets that branch off on a slope. The whole country still retains the charm of a creation of fantasy, a tale of stone in the clear light of the Eastern Mediterranean. That of Alberobello is a unique landscape and in 1996 entered in the UNESCO list of goods "World Heritage".
An open air itinerary that blends art and nature in a landscape of trulli and olive trees, stone walls, vineyards and farms, caves, ravines and woods, but also architectural treasures, Romanesque churches and castles, baroque cities, crystal clear sea.
The Trulli of Alberobello are a path to follow by car, or better still, in motion.
