Reviews on Saint Club

Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, the Jewish Museum (Judisches Museum) includes an older building, to which is attached zigzag construction, clad in metal and full of cracks and gashes. The visual impact that you have looking at the Jewish Museum is remarkable.

Inside, the Jewish Museum hosts an exhibition documenting two millenniums of Jewish life in Germany. The Jewish Museum has become a vital center of history and Jewish-German culture, a place for research, debate and exchange of views. Although it is a documentary museum, the almost complete interactivity of rooms makes the visit interesting. The staff of the Museum is very courteous and always ready to provide information, often in Italian.

On over 3000 m2 of exhibition space for the permanent exhibition, the Museum calls for a journey of discovery in two thousand years of Jewish history in Germany. Thirteen epochs in history to broadcast live images to the German-Jewish culture from the Middle Ages to the present day.

Works of art, newspapers, photographs, letters, spaces and also interactive and multimedia describe the close ties between life and culture for Jewish and German history. Areas such as the Garden of Exile and the Holocaust Tower symbolize successful architectural solutions with the dramatic moments in Jewish history.

You can book guided tours for groups on specific topics in 14 languages. Guided tours in German and English are at fixed times. Total cost for groups (max. 15 persons): Euro 60 with the addition of a reduced fee of Euro 2.50 per person. The entrance to the Jewish Museum is 5 €, reduced € 2.5
