Par Tot Parata in Bologna means parade for everyone. A multicultural event, ecological and traveling along the crowded streets of the city center coloring with sounds and forms, no motor cars, and only with live music.
A kind of carnival which involves citizens, artists, clubs and schools and brings them to the streets in an explosion of music, dance, street theater, singing, costumes, masks, dolls, trucks and more in an attempt to revitalize and process sites in the city.
Indeed, the parade is still more than a parade-carnival: it is a open air laboratory in which the inhabitants themselves redefine the space of social life and mold it into an art project that begins months in advance, months in which all the city is actively involved in organizing the parade, with over forty creative workshops (cooking, sewing, juggling, theater, mime, puppet building, construction and decoration of parade floats, graffiti writing, photography, dance, acrobatics, clown, construction and use of carts) around the city whose aim is to produce the performance that will be made the fateful day. Fateful day when all will be protagonists of the most colorful city of Bologna.
An event not to be missed.
