Housed in glass and steel building built in 1899 as a symbol of Modern Style of the metallurgical industry, the Museum of Musical Instruments in Brussels (Musées des Instruments de Musique) is built on four floors. In English Musical Instruments Museum (MIM).
The 1500 items are collected along four thematic tracks: the folk instruments from around the world, a historical journey from antiquity to the twentieth century, the keyboard and string instruments, machine parts such as chimes.
The helmets are available at the entrance permit a visit not only visual but also sound.
