La Bourse in Brussels is an imposing neoclassical building of the second half of the nineteenth century, with huge and massive columns, wide staircase and the pediment frieze sculpted by Rodin.

On the left side of La Bourse excavations have unearthed the remains of an ancient Franciscan monastery of 1238, whose ruins can be seen through the windows to protect them.
