Built for the Universal Exhibition of 1958, the Atomium is a huge molecule of iron. The highest of its nine spheres (or atoms) is 102 meters high and has a restaurant with amazing views over the city.

Very impressive to see it illuminated in the evening or the fireworks display from the spheres. Set into the front of the Atomium, which is surrounded by a park, are often organized concerts and festivals dedicated to European regions, like the colorful and lively Andalusia.
