Allentown is located in downtown Buffalo and is known primarily for the community of artists who visit it and to the gay clubs. Every year in June are held the Allentown Art Festival, which attracts thousands of visitors, and in 2007 celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Allentown District is an area where you live most of the night: there are bars and restaurants in abundance. In the summer of 2007 here was organized the Music Art Festival, a concert organized by a charity fund Robby Takac, record producer and member of the Goo Goo Dolls, as well as a native of Buffalo.
