The Coptic Museum in Cairo is the most interesting museum I have visited so far and by far the most well preserved, with regard to cleaning, display and organization. Wonderful complex that houses architecture that meets all expectations, with the wooden ceilings decorated with Arabian Nights, exhaustive explanations and rational path.
The Coptic Museum displays many artifacts of Coptic art in a careful and respectful way, of both the visitor and the object.
Nice lighting and especially the absolute freedom to travel the rooms without hordes of tourists (unlike the Egyptian Museum).
The Coptic Museum is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm, you can not enter with the camera but this also applies to the Egyptian Museum, while others you must pay extra to take pictures.
