The Sqala is not so much a cafe restaurant is famous for its, though good, kitchen, but for his very evocative place.
Entered into an ancient fortress built on the walls of the medieval medina of Casablanca, the Sqala is a place where many young people who want to sip mint tea in the afternoon or eat Moroccan dishes during lunch time (13h30-15h00,19h00-23h00 , approximately) can go in a really suggestive, Arabian garden withfountains and fruit trees, all covered with majolica, without worrying about a certain formality, indirectly requested, but never too much.
The prices are good Sqala La (15/20 €), although, of course, we must consider that in Casablanca, Morocco's most expensive city there are places (ancienne medina) where one can eat and drink with little more than 3 €
