For any kind of snacks, smoothies, fruit juices, the Bagel Factory (now has over 30 branches around the UK) has also opened on the main pedestrian thorough fare in Dublin, Grafton Street.
The bagels are a typical North American Jewish bread, used for breakfast, stuffed with cheese or any kind of philadelphia cream cheese. It is said that these donuts were made bread for the first time in 1683 by a jew baker in Vienna in honor of the King of Poland, in gratitude for having saved the Austrian population from the the Turkish invasion. As the king was an avid horseman, the baker gave the bread in the form of a stirrup - beugel in Austria.
The staff bakes bagels until 11 am, and they are really all types. Cinnamon, cheese, poppy seeds, salmon, onion, with integral fibers. It is best enjoyed with a nice mug ofcoffee milk. Course is open all day.
Good breakfast!
