Johnnie Fox's pub is not just a pub, or just a restaurant. It 's a real experience.
Located about 20 minutes from downtown Dublin, the pub overlooks the city from the hills of Glencullen. Its ancient history it was housed in a farm because during the eighteenth century,it has always been a meeting place of the Irish rebels; from the 50's has become a landmark for the local food culture.
You will enter a fantasy world populated by insurgents, ancestors, gnomes, elves and reindeer speakers ... because it is one of the highlights of Johnnie Fox's it's its incredible style: a mix of imaginative historical furnishings and knick-knacks of everykind that are the setting for your event. You can dine in front of a fireplace, including pictures of bearded and stern grandparents soldiers with rifle on the shoulder.
The menu offers Irish specialties as well as meat and fish to suit all tastes. The evenings are always Johnnie Fox animated by the music and dance performances.
The prices are the only negative note: you can not define cheap (between 30-40 €)but I think that among the restaurants I visited, charm and cuisine, really worthspending it.
I recommend, especially for those who want to go into the weekend, convenient booking service online.
